Founded in 1989 with the main purpose of investing and supporting the agriculture sector in Egypt. It was founded by the Electric Engineer (Assem Doss) and the Mechanical Engineer (Gamal Aziz).
1990
Fertilizer Revolution
In 1990 Assem Doss & Co was approached by the leading fertilizer producer in the world (Yara International) to introduce their complete fertilizer range to the Egyptian market.
2002
Thriving Seed Business
In 2002 Assem Doss & Co was once again approached to start a new venture to introduce vegetable seeds from Enza Zaden, a business that has now become one of the main pillars of the company.
2013
Growing Crop Expansion
In 2013 Assem Doss & Co decided to introduce a new line of business and cooperated with (Imperial Valley) known now as (S&W Seed Company) in the hybrids of Alfa Alfa, Sorghum, and Sunflower.
2019
ADGA Market Entrance
The union introduced ADGA to the market.
2020
ADGA's Structural Transformation
In 2020 Assem Doss & Co decided to change its operating vehicle to a shareholding structure and will be shortly operating under ADGA group. The crop protection business was launched in 2020.
2023
Merger to Success
By end of 2023, The team announced a merger, a shareholding company that brings together their immense success in Assem Doss & Co and ADGA under one roof with a clear vision and leaders.
